Our stay at Indunil Place was wonderful! We stayed for 6 days and the hosts were amazing. They were friendly, caring, and really made an effort to get to know us. The breakfast each morning was incredible and definitely filled us up. The room, although small, was comfortable with AC and a good mosquito net. The bathroom was clean with hot water. Having a kettle and fridge in the room was a nice touch. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner with barbecued fish. a peaceful and easy stay with excellent value for money.

the apartment was big and in a marvellous and peaceful location just next door to restaurants, hiriketiya and the beach. everything was perfect and i got ironing for free.

Big apartment for great value. Chilled-out base for travelling to Dickwella and sightseeing. Clean and perfect rooms overall with airco, terasse, as example. Unbeatable, quiet setting so close to beach and restaurants, a quiet residential area and the garden or rooftop of the house. Btw, located in jungle.

The value for money at this place was amazing and the room was truly comfortable and luxurious. The location was great, close to the beach and main town, with plenty of great places to eat. The staff at this family-run hotel were incredibly friendly and kind, making our first time in Sri Lanka a wonderful experience.

The food for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

The location was also great, just a short walk away from the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place. Restrictions: The bathroom was shared by multiple rooms, but it was manageable.

This place was a wonderful spot to stay close to the beach and dining options, and the garden and rooftop were especially pleasant.

The room I stayed in didn't have air conditioning, but the big fan provided was more than enough to keep me cool and I had a comfortable night's sleep. The bed was also great! The homestay experience was fantastic overall, as the host and his family went above and beyond to meet my needs. They even invited me to join them for drinks with their local friends and family, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. This stay gave me a better understanding and appreciation of the local culture and people. I will definitely be seeking out more homestay experiences in the future, thanks to this wonderful experience.

During my 6-night stay at the homestay, there were some issues that affected my rest. Mornings were disrupted by phone calls outside my window and loud noise from the laundry machine and electric generator, especially when there was a power outage.

This place is a hidden gem near Hiriketiya beach. It offers a nice walk through lush greenery. Ideal for nature lovers.

I had an absolutely mind-blowing experience at this place! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the stunning blue beach. The rooms were super clean and tidy, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The best part was the breakfast, which was jaw-droppingly delicious and catered to my dietary needs - no refined sugar! The use of the kitchen and outside space was also great, and they even provided water at the same price as the shop, so no need to carry it back. this place exceeded all my expectations and is definitely the place to stay for an amazing Sri Lankan experience. Highly recommended!

the shared room had easy access to the bathroom, almost like having an en suite. the highlight of my stay was the amazing and generous breakfast, which catered to my dietary restrictions by offering options without refined sugar. the fully-equipped kitchen was a great convenience, allowing me to store food and make tea. the homestay provided ample outdoor space to relax, hang out laundry, and enjoy the surroundings. I also appreciated that they offered to sell us bottled water at the same price as the shop, saving us from carrying it back ourselves. The thoughtful gestures made my stay even more pleasant. Cons: One minor drawback was that the homestay was not easy to find initially. 🤔.
